Biography: Almasa Bečić was born on February 16, 1999, in Tuzla. She graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Tuzla and is currently pursuing her master's studies at the University of Sarajevo. She has been active in the non-governmental sector through various youth organizations since her high school days. In the Youth Movement “Revolt,” she served as president and executive director from 2021. The topics she most frequently addresses in her activism include local politics, media, and youth. As part of the activities of the “Pod Lupom” Coalition, she served as a long-term election observer during the 2022 general elections and the 2023 early mayoral elections in Tuzla, advocating for the fair conduct of elections. Additionally, she worked as a media monitor, analyzing irregularities in media reporting during the elections. She is currently employed as a project coordinator at the Forum of Citizens of Tuzla, working on the “Pod Lupom” Coalition project.
